- Performance of plant protection equipment: advanced measurement of sprayer performances, to improve the efficiency of treatments while protecting both environment and bystanders
- Machine stability in steep slopes: custom-built indoor reconfigurable structure to test and certify stability characteristics of real-scale machinery
- Engine performance: evaluation of the energy efficiency of tractor engines, both when powered conventionally and by alternative fuels.
- Smart Agriculture: development of equipment for environmental, operative and field monitoring, compatible with Smart Agriculture applications and with Farm Information Management Systems.
- Development of prototypes for mountain farming, to aid in recovery of traditional value-chains
